Riga

In October average temperatures reach 4-10 ° C. The weather can be either warm, windy or rainy.  A jacket is suggested  for outdoor wear. A suit jacket, blazer or sweater is suggested for indoors as meeting venues are air conditioned.

Hotel

The Radisson Blu Latvia Hotel is the site of the Rotary Institute and GETS 2017. A special rate has been negotiated for participants and can be combined with Club Carlsson Frequent Guest program rewards during the institute.

Radisson Blu Latvia Hotel is a hotel engaged in Responsible Business and Environmental issues. The hotel is 100 % smoke free. Designated smoking areas are available outside of the hotel for guests who smoke.

Hotel Room Check-In and Check -Out 

Hotel room Check-In time begins at 15.00. before 15.00 rooms will be assigned as they become available. Hotel check-out time is 12.00. Late departures participants are required to submit a request to the front desk manager for approval.

Transportation to the Hotel 

Riga Airport provides shuttle service to Radisson  Blu Latvia Hotel Shuttles and taxis are available outside Airport main entrance. Shuttle to Radisson Blu Latvia Hotel is available at bus stop.

Parking

The hotel maintains a self parking facility in parking garage of the hotel or street next to hotel area.

Institute Registration Process 

Registration package in the hotel lobby on

•Wednesday October 11 at 09.00 -11,30 and 17-20 at Institute Office room

•Thursday October 12 at 08.00-12,00 and at 17-20 at Institute Office  room

• Friday October 13 at 08.00-13.00 From 13.00 and onwards at Institute office room

Meals

Registration badges are required for entrance to all meal events without exception.

Dress Code

During working part of the day, the appropriate dress for both participants and their partners is business casual attire (no tie or suit coat required). This includes all general sessions and group discussions.

Dress code at Institute banquet: Black Tie/Dark Suit. For evening dinners – Dark Suit.
